Jazz Bands
Jazz Band is by audition and meets and practices after school. The primary goal and function of the Jazz Band is to introduce students to a wide array of jazz. This ensemble is open to all saxophone, trumpet, trombone, guitar, bass, piano, and percussion players. The styles of music performed ranges from Big Band, Swing, Bebop, Funk, Rock, and Latin. Interested students should see Mr. Miner before signing up to make sure there is room. In addition to performances at school concerts the Jazz Band is available to play community events.
