The Indian River Marching Braves are in the middle of Band Camp this week. Things are going very well and the Band is growing every day.
Band Camp Update!!!
After a week of a very grueling practice in the elements - beaming summer sun, sweltering humidity, and soaking rain...
Mr. Miner and the IRHS Marching Band are gearing up for the "End-of-Camp Cookout"!!
The cookout will be held in front of the school on Friday, August 27, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.
To make this a success, IR Band Boosters are asking parents to supply the following items on our menu:

- Woodwinds - Bring a 2 liter drink (24 students)
- Brass - Bring a side item (chips, potato salad, baked beans, etc), (18 students)
- Percussion - Bring a dessert (18 students)
- Colorguard and drum major - Bring any item listed above (15 students) a drink, a side item, or a dessert.

Parents: If you are available to help prepare for the picnic by setting up, cleaning up, serving food, grilling burgers and hot dogs, we would welcome the help.

The IRHS Marching Braves will give us a preview of their 2010 Show Deja Vu during the cookout as well.
